The first two meetings were the opportunity to take part in a very interesting discussions that showed what a great job can be done in atopy schools in terms of education.

Patients/parents asked a lot of questions concerning the disease and the reliability of information they can find on the Internet. Doctors gave comprehensive advice on the skincare for patients/parents needed to  self-manage the treatment of atopic dermatitis with emollients and topical medicines.

The collaboration with Prof Lesiak and the partnership of the Foundation will help this new school to get very quickly to the same level of expertise than other such projects founded for the purpose of for the management of AD already existing in the rest of Europe.
